London, Ontario Canadá es la casa de miles de mujeres hispanas. Nuestras reuniones, estar JUNTAS, celebrar y compartir la vida es parte de nuestras raíces. En comunidad es como vivimos.
JUNTAS fue concebido de manera conjunta con el propósito de conectar y celebrar a las mujeres hispanas. Muchas de nosotras hemos dejado atrás nuestras redes sociales en nuestros países de origen. No obstante, somos conscientes de que nos necesitamos y anhelamos estar juntas. JUNTAS se fundamenta en la creación de experiencias donde las mujeres hispanas sean empoderadas y reconocidas.
En nuestra reunión inaugural en Mayo de 2023, más de 80 mujeres hispanas se congregaron para dar origen a JUNTAS. En conjunto, generamos ideas acerca de nuestra visión, misión y valores. Compartimos reflexiones sobre las actividades que podrían ser vivificantes para realizar en conjunto. A partir de estos aportes, el Comité Coordinador elaboró la visión, misión y valores de JUNTAS, así como nuestras áreas de enfoque.
London, Ontario, Canada is home to thousands of Hispanic women. Gathering, being together, celebrating, sharing life is in our part of our roots. Community is how we live.
JUNTAS was co-created to gather and celebrate Hispanic women. Many of us have left our natural social networks back in our home countries. And yet we know we need each other and we long to be together. Juntas is anchored on creating experiences where Hispanic women are uplifted, connected, and celebrated.
At our inaugural meeting in May 2023, more than 80 Hispanic women gathered to give birth to JUNTAS. Together, we generated ideas about our vision, mission, and values. We shared ideas about what would be life-giving activities to do together. Based on this feedback, the Coordinating Committee developed JUNTAS’ vision, mission, and
values as well as our focus areas.

Nueve mujeres apasionadas han unido sus fuerzas para formar un grupo destinado a empoderar a las mujeres hispanas. Con un enfoque centrado en la comunidad, estas mujeres están comprometidas a crear un espacio inclusivo y solidario. A través de eventos y actividades, buscan celebrar la diversidad, fomentar la conexión y ofrecer apoyo mutuo.
Este grupo es un testimonio del poder que surge cuando las mujeres se unen para compartir experiencias, conocimientos y fortalecerse unas a otras. JUNTAS, están construyendo no solo una red, sino también un refugio donde las mujeres hispanas pueden crecer, prosperar y celebrar juntas su herencia y logros.
Nine passionate women have joined forces to create a group dedicated to empowering Hispanic women. With a community-focused approach, these women are committed to establishing an inclusive and supportive space. Through events and activities, they aim to celebrate diversity, foster connections, and provide mutual support.
This group is a testament to the power that arises when women come together to share experiences, knowledge, and strengthen one another. Together, they are building not only a network but also a safe place where Hispanic women can grow, thrive, and collectively celebrate their heritage and achievements.
